Function
Ø Define Function and its types with example.
[Function: A function is a relation between a set of inputs and a set of permissible outputs with the property that each input is related to exactly one output.
Example:
Let f(x)=x2 be a function, if the input is −3, then the output is 9, and we may write f(−3) = 9. Likewise, if the input is 3, then the output is also 9, and we may write f(3) = 9.

Basically there are two types of Function (i)Explicit (ii)Implicit
Explicit: If a function is expressed directly in terms of the independent variable along, then it is called an Explicit function.
Otherwise it an Implicit function.
Example:
(i) 3x - y = 2 is a Explicit function, but
y = 2 - 3x is an Implicit function ]
